Scott County Public Health provides services to promote healthier living for county residents. Public Health staff includes licensed registered nurses and health educators who provide assessment, teaching, support, and referrals to residents of Scott County.

Ka Joog is a nationally recognized, Somali nonprofit organization tailored towards enriching the lives of Somali American youth by utilizing the positive elements of education, mentoring, employment, and the arts. Ka Joog’s mission is to motivate youth to pursue higher education, while promoting and building community ties at events throughout Minnesota.

Hue-MAN Partnership consists of health care, community, and professional organizations seeking to address the health crisis among our young and middle-aged men, primarily men of color.

The Hawthorne Neighborhood Council seeks to improve the quality of life in the Hawthorne neighborhood through empowering the residents in order that they can address the physical, cultural, social and economic needs of the community.
